Data entry, and possible collection of data, for online domestic violence offender database for law enforcement and prosecution. A background check is required for this position.

Court Advocate

Aid victims of domestic violence in navigating the court system and planning for safety. A background check is required for this position.

Rape Response On-Call Advocate

Response to local hospitals to aid rape victims. A background check is required for this position.

Victim Outreach

Help in distributing brochures, flyers or posters to Baldwin or Escambia County locations. Any creative ideas for victim’s outreach are welcome.

Sunset Supper

Help with preparing for this event, held at the Fairhope Yacht Club, collecting silent auction items, selling event tickets and raffle tickets, acquiring sponsors, and at the event itself. Sunset Supper preparation is from February to May. The next Sunset Supper is Monday, May 9th, 2011.

Christmas Sharing

Buy gifts for kids, teens or women. Adopt a family. Write a check. Christmas is a time that many of our families are starting over and need a little extra help.

Valentine Drive

If you’re an artist, talk to us about creating a piece of artwork for our annual Valentine’s Day Card. We also need help with preparing our Valentine’s for mailing.

Art Competition

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Lighthouse and the Foley Art’s Center sponsor an annual art competition.

Easter Eggstravaganza

We need 5,000 Plastic Easter Eggs with candy, no chocolate please, for the Easter Egg Hunt, held every Good Friday at Garrett Park in Robertsdale.

Shelter Supplies

The Lighthouse needs household supplies for the shelter. On a daily basis, persons in the shelter could number up to 20 people. We are always in need of the basics. Please call us for a current list of shelter needs.

Cell Phone Collection

Used, or even broken, cell phones are a valuable resource for the Lighthouse. If you’d like to help us with our cell phone drive, please call us.

Child Care

We occasionally have need for child care services. A background check is required for this position.

Special Needs

At times, we might need help with moving furniture, picking up donations, or other special needs. If you’re willing to help us with these needs, please let us know.
