In February we celebrate St. Valentine's Day and the joy of love and friendship. It also gives us an opportunity to remember those victims of love gone awry. For many, love means fear, pain and often physical injury as a result of domestic violence.
The Lighthouse needs your help to offer safe alternatives to victims who live in violent homes in our communities.
You can help by making a tax-deductible contribution to The Lighthouse at one of the sponsorship levels below. As a member of The Lighthouse's annual Valentine's Drive, you will receive our quarterly newsletter along with other published material regarding The Lighthouse and its activities.
Beacon: [$1,000+] Everyone needs hope. Through your contribution you can give hope to victims searching for a safe and peaceful life.
Lantern: [$500 - $999] Most people consider safety at home to be a given. This is not the case for victims of domestic violence. Help protect families from lives of threatening situations and give them reason to celebrate living with your gift.
Candle: [$100 - $499] If violence is to end, education is vitally important. Your gift will help our staff reach out to the community, carrying the message of domestic violence and its devastating effect on victims, families, and our society.
Twinkle: [$25 - $99] Children are also victims in domestic violence situations and they often need a kind and listening ear, experienced counsel, or simple companionship while at The Lighthouse.
