Are You In An Abusive Relationship?

Following is a list of questions to help you determine if you are in an abusive relationship. Answer the questions honestly.

Has not making your partner angry become a big part of your day?

Do you feel like a prisoner in your own home?

Does your partner criticize or embarrass you in front or others or hurt you with bad names and put downs?

Have you stopped seeing your friends or family because of your partners feelings?

Does your partner threaten to harm you, your family, your children, or your pets?

Does your partner shove, slap, or hit you?

Abuse your children?

Abuse your pets?

Destroy your property?

Does your partner follow you, spy on you, or show up at your job, school, or friends' homes?

Listen to your phone calls, or keep you from using the phone?

Does he force you to have sex when you don't want to?

Is your partner jealous, does he accuse you of having affairs?

Control all the money or take the money you earn?

Keep you from getting a job and if you have one or get one, make it difficult for you to keep it or get you fired?
